Cora Taylor is one of Canada's best-known children's authors, having published more than a dozen juvenile novels, including Adventure in Istanbul, the first book in the "The Spy Who Wasn't There" series, the "Ghost Voyages" trilogy and The Deadly Dance for Coteau. Other recent titles include On Wings of Evil and On Wings of a Dragon and several Our Canadian Girl titles.
Cora Taylor's books for children have won many awards, including the Canada Council Children's Literature Prize, the Canadian Library Association's Book of the Year Award, the Ruth Schqwartz Book Award and Alberta's R. Ross Annett Award for Children's Literature. Born and raised in Saskatchewan, she divides her time between Edmonton, Ontario and Florida.
